This is a great idea for displaying the random photographs we stick on our refrigerators. Get an old shutter from an antique store, your local Habitat for Humanity ReStore or architectural salvage store.
Clean it off with a wet rag, if necessary. You want to keep the texture of all the worn paint, so only sand if there are splintery rough spots. Hang it on the wall with screws inserted through the original screw holes or, if there are no existing holes, with a cleat-style picture hanger. Then tuck your photos in
between the slats, clipped with wood clothespins. Done! (And now you can clear the photos off your fridge!)
